On the Lord’s Day:

  • 9:15 am — Sunday school classes for all ages: Classes for graded age groups meet to learn from the Scriptures. See Sunday school classes, ages and meeting locations.
  • 10:30 am — Morning Worship. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it (1 Corinthians 12:27 ESV). What does it mean to be a part of the body of Christ? Join us in worship as we look into this vital topic.

This Week @ Elim: 1-22 thru 1-28-2012

On the Lord’s Day:

  • 9:15 am — Sunday school classes for all ages: Classes for graded age groups meet to learn from the Scriptures. See Sunday school classes, ages and meeting locations.
  • 10:30 am — Morning Worship. In our study last week in Habakkuk, we learned that it’s crucial to really KNOW who God is (His character and His attributes) before accusing God of being insensitive or uncaring. And that we must wait on the Lord to reveal His timing! This week, we’ll learn Habakkuk’s response to God’s truths, and learn what our response should be as well! Read Habakkuk 3 to prepare your heart and mind to worship God through His word.

Note: We were unable to get a recorded copy of last week’s sermon. We apologize for this inconvenience.

This Week @ Elim: 1-8 thru 1-14-2012

On the Lord’s Day:

  • 9:15 am — Sunday school classes for all ages: Classes for graded age groups meet to learn from the Scriptures. See Sunday school classes, ages and meeting locations.
  • 10:30 am — Morning Worship. O LORD, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear? Or cry to you “Violence!” and you will not save? Why do you make me see iniquity, and why do you idly look at wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; strife and contention arise. So the law is paralyzed, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; so justice goes forth perverted.

Are these the words from your heart? If so, you’ll definitely want to be here Sunday to learn how God responds to our hurt, our frustration and the iniquity in the world around us.
